Happy Pancake Day 2013!

This week we spent in the forest making dream catchers, sharpening tools, whittling, making mallets, kazoos and a BOW AND ARROW! My trusty bow! Whittling my Kazoo ready for ‘Name that tune’.

On Wednesday 11th January Apple Tree Class thoroughly enjoyed their first Forest School Session. We spent the morning outside only returning to our classroom to enjoy a well deserved cup of hot chocolate! The children played games such as ‘Hey Mr Crocodile’, painted mud postcards and experienced much awe and wonder when experimenting with sky eyes!!

To Beech and Oak Class, This is the safety rope circle we use when using tools in the forest. We have used loppers and secateurs. I can go through some risk assessments for both of these processes before you start your biome. Here are some pictures for Oak class of some rather smart pixie houses! Mrs Webber
