Learning at Tiny Trees Nursery

At Tiny Trees Nursery, learning is all about exploration, discovery and joy. We believe that the early years are a magical time when children are naturally curious and eager to learn – and we’re here to nurture that spark every step of the way.

Learning through play

We understand that children learn best when they’re having fun. That’s why our curriculum is play-based and child-led, giving each child the freedom to explore their interests while developing important skills in communication, social interaction and problem-solving.

A curriculum that builds foundations

Our experienced team have crafted a rich and stimulating learning environment that supports every child’s development. From early language and literacy to early maths, creative expression, and physical play – everything we do is designed to help your child build strong foundations for future learning.

Learning in nature

We make full use of our wonderful outdoor spaces, including our garden, school field, forest school, and sand garden. Whether we’re planting seeds, investigating mini-beasts, or storytelling under the trees, outdoor learning is a key part of our daily rhythm.

Wellbeing and belonging

We prioritise emotional development, helping children feel safe, confident and valued. With support from our therapy dog, Marley, and a gentle, nurturing approach, we help children build resilience and form positive relationships with both adults and their peers.

Every child is unique

We celebrate every child’s individuality and tailor our approach to support their interests, strengths, and next steps. Whether your child is a quiet thinker, a confident talker, or an adventurous explorer, we help them thrive in their own unique way.
