Ofsted report celebrates the magic of our school
We are delighted to kickstart the new academic year in style by sharing some wonderful news with our school community!
Following our recent Ofsted inspection in June, inspectors have this week published the report, recognising so many of the things that make our school such a special place for children to learn and grow.
Reading through the report feels like seeing the very best of our school captured on paper. All seven inspection areas were graded 'Strong' or higher, with Attendance and Behaviour recognised as 'Exceptional' - an accolade only achieved by only 2% of schools nationally.
One part of the report left us all feeling a little emotional. Inspectors wrote that the "exceptional care, support and expertise" of our staff means pupils "simply love coming to school." We don't mind admitting there may even have been a happy tear in Mrs Badger's eye when she read those words! Because while grades and judgements are important, seeing our children run through the gates each morning with smiles on their faces is what really matters to us.
From the classroom to the forest school, from sporting events to school performances, our children make us proud wherever they go. This report is a celebration of them and everything they bring to our school.

As a trust, Cornwall Education Learning Trust (CELT) exists to support schools to be all that they can be for children, families and communities.
